Shipping Charges Are NOT Going Up!
The below is our Newsletter that is on its' way to our eBay Newsletter Subscribers: News Flash: “Despite recent US postage hikes and rising fuel costs, Make It So Marketing announces that they will NOT increase their Flat Rate Shipping charge for Comic Books shipped to USA addresses.” Dear Reader, In today’s economic climate, it is big news when a company decides NOT to raise its rates! Even though the United States Postal Service raised postage rates on May 12, 2008, we decided to hold the line on our Flat Rate Shipping charge. The majority of our customers’ purchases, namely comic books ('raw' / 'unslabbed' comics) being shipped to USA addresses, are covered by our Flat Rate Shipping charge of only $4.99 -- no matter the quantity of comics ordered. Rest assured, we’re not skimping on packaging. Your comic book purchase, (of 1 - 3 comics), will continue to be expertly packaged in a bag and board, then wrapped in a folder secured with a cardboard sheet and inserted in a bubble wrap envelope. An order of 1-3 comic books with packaging usually weighs a little less than 13 ounces and is shipped via USPS First Class mail with delivery confirmation. When you order 4 or more comics, your order is shipped via USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope with delivery confirmation. FYI, the USPS raised their Flat Rate Priority Mail fee to $4.80, so with the delivery confirmation, we’re actually losing money on this. We will COMBINE shipping for mixed items (magazines / comics / books / promo items) whenever possible to save you money on combined shipping charges, but these items are NOT part of our 'unlimited shipping flat rate fee' when comics are mixed with other type of items, due to the weight and odd sizes of the items! For our International customers, please read complete details on International Shipments at our blog post: We appreciate your patronage and we will continue to do our best to keep costs reasonable and fair for you.
