Golden Records With And Without Comics!
Back on April 28th we received the following email question: Dear make_it_so_marketing, Well, my answer to this eBayer was: Thanks for emailing us! I have seen both the album/record and the comic book selling individually by themselves at conventions. There are collectors that were not able to get the album when they purchased the comic book and vice versa. So you have a probable market in reaching those collectors. Especially since the advent of CGC and PGX where they encapsulate the comics but don't do so with the records. The encapsulated comics go for about $250 in 9.4 NM grade. Whereas if you are selling the record/cover alone, you probably should put a reserve on the auction to get what you need out of it! Now for the update on this record and album cover: It sold for $26.00 + shipping. It was Item number: 300222126772 and had 13 bids on it! Congrats to the emailer / seller! For those of you new to us, we have an ongoing pop culture - comics convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale! Michael |
The above are four of the Golden Records and reprints of the 'Key Issues' of the Marvel Comics the record is about. Shown are Fantastic Four #1, Avengers #4, Amazing Spider-Man #1, and Journey Into Mystery with Thor #83! For all of our currently listed Marvel Comics for sale, just click on the photo of the Golden Records/Comics above! Note From Make It So Marketing: Each comic / Graphic Novels, comics book or magazine in our eBay Featured Store is individually graded, inventoried, priced, bagged and boarded, before being listed for sale! We attend several pop culture and Comic Cons during the year to replenish our inventory for resale! If you don't see what you are looking for, feel free to email us a 'want list' and if in stock, we'll place it in our eBay Featured Store just for you!
